My SEO Journey
My career in SEO started over six years ago while working in a warehouse that sold equipment for paintball and airsoft sports. No, I’m not kidding.
During one lunch break, I ran into the CEO at Wendy’s, and we sat down and ate together. We discussed my career path as a recent English and Literary Studies graduate from York University, and he suggested that I consider pursuing Search Engine Optimization.
Intrigued, I went home and completed a free course offered through Lynda, which was available for free through the Toronto Public Library.
Since then, I have worked in various industries, including finance, gambling, Software as a Service (SaaS), arts and culture, cannabis, and others as an SEO manager generating over $2M in revenue for various companies in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
